Version 2.9.3 · Build 219 · October 12, 2026

Android, Windows, and Linux are in development. These are not Google Play, Microsoft Store, or Steam releases. Features can differ from the Apple app. Automated checks passed: 50 Android-project JVM tests and 52 desktop tests. Platform verification is described below; cross-device multiplayer is still being tested.

Based on applicable improvements in the upcoming Apple 2.9.3 release: refreshed theme arrows, adaptive Arcade Cabinet presentation, smoother theme selection, and resilient NASA image loading. Apple iCloud sync, StoreKit purchases, and iPhone Duo system integration are not included.

Android packaging and signing checks passed, but build 219 has not been tested on a physical Android device.

Android

For Android 7.0 or later. This APK is signed with a development key, not a Google Play release key. Future releases may not install over it. Back up anything important before replacing an existing installation.

About 284 MiB. Build 219 uses the same development signing key as build 119, so it can update that build without uninstalling it. Your device may ask whether to allow installation from your browser. Do not disable Play Protect. If you see a signature mismatch, contact support before uninstalling an existing copy and losing local data.

Windows

Choose the architecture matching your Windows PC. In Windows Settings → System → About, check System type. Most Intel/AMD PCs use x64; Windows on ARM PCs use ARM64.

Download Windows ARM64 portable ZIP ↓

The x64 EXE is an installer; Windows may show its upgrade version as 2.9.219. For ARM64, extract the entire ZIP into a new folder, then open PIG.exe inside it. The portable build needs no installer or uninstall step. Keep your existing user preferences and app data.

ARM64 passed a packaged startup check. The x64 package passed architecture and upgrade-identity checks and started with software rendering in our ARM-based Windows VM; accelerated graphics exited in that emulated environment. Native Intel/AMD gameplay and installed-upgrade behavior remain unverified. Use the ARM64 ZIP on Windows on ARM, including Parallels on Apple silicon.

These test downloads are not Authenticode-signed and Windows may warn about an unknown publisher. Do not disable Windows security protections. If Windows blocks installation or launch, contact support rather than bypassing organizational security policies.

Linux

Test packages for 64-bit Linux desktops. Choose x64 for Intel/AMD computers or ARM64 for ARM computers. These are direct-download test packages, not distribution-repository releases.

Which download do I need?

Next, choose your computer type: x64 for Intel/AMD, or ARM64 for ARM. You only need one download—not both formats or both computer types.

Not sure whether your computer is x64 or ARM64?

In a terminal, enter uname -m. This only displays information; it does not change anything. If it says x86_64, choose x64. If it says aarch64 or arm64, choose ARM64. For any other result, contact support before downloading.

Open your downloaded file with your distribution's package installer and let it resolve required libraries. If it cannot open the file or reports missing dependencies or a signature warning, contact support—do not force installation or disable security checks. These direct downloads do not set up an automatic-update repository.

The ARM64 DEB was installed on Ubuntu 26.04, and the Fedora ARM64 RPM on Fedora 44; game moves and window resizing passed visual checks on both. Ubuntu also loaded a live NASA image. The x64 packages reuse the previously verified build 114 Java runtime with build 219 application code; native x64 gameplay for build 219 remains unverified. Other Debian-based systems may not provide the required libraries. The packages are unsigned and include a Java runtime, but still need your distribution's desktop libraries. Use your package manager to resolve dependencies. Do not force-install incompatible architectures or disable package-signature policies; contact support if your system refuses a package.
